Easter Community Orchard Work Party: War Memorial Park between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 8th March

We had a good work party at the Easter Community Orchard this Sunday past and made good progress, but there is still more to do!

There will be a work party at the Easter Community Orchard in the Basingstoke War Memorial Park between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday 8th March if you would like to join in.

The two main activities are to weed the compost areas around the trees and to refresh the edging between the compost and the grass.

Tools required are hand tools for weeding, hoes, rakes and edging tools.

Bags/buckets to remove the weeds will also be useful.

Hope to see you there!

PS We are moving forward with the designs for the lecterns and tree labels have successfully raised the funds we required. We expect to have these ready for installation in late March/early April. There will be work parties to arrange for this for which we will post the details nearer the time.
