Volunteers Needed!

Help To Plant A Community Orchard!

Incredible Edible North Hampshire is planting a Community Orchard in the Basingstoke War Memorial Park at 12 midday on Sunday 17^th March 2013.

You would be most welcome to join in and help!

Once established the fruit produced will be available to the whole community to share. The layout below will give you an idea of how it will look, there are 49 trees in total.

Whether it is digging holes, driving stakes, holding the tree, filling the hole, watering in, spreading the mulch or just giving encouraging support – come along and lend a hand!

Organisations supporting the project include Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Shaw Trust, Inspero, Laverstoke Park Farm and Sainsbury's together with Basingstoke Gazette who are running articles on the project 

Monthly Meeting - Tuesday 19th March at 7.30pm

The next monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday 19th March at 7.30pm at the Community House.

This is right after our planting day for the Community Orchard in the Basingstoke War Memorial Park on Sunday 17th March and so should be a good opportunity to share experiences and celebrate before looking to the next project.

The agenda will be posted closer to the time.
